Kirsten lived in Spain for 20 years and directed an art Gallery and school in Palma de Mallorca, Spain in the early 80’s.
Her work has a primitive heroic quality that reflects her entire life experience. There is a back-to-the-earth timeless and placeless beauty to her sculptures that has become her trademark. Her figures embody joy and hope and create a sense of personal power in the viewer.
The sculptures range from 6” to 15’ and are made of reinforced concrete and high fire clay. Her work can be seen locally, nationally and internationally.
