I have had a nearly lifelong interest in photography. I was presented my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, at the age of ten. In 1970, I acquired my first serious camera, a Yashica MAT 124G, and I have I been taking photographs ever since. Photography, for me, opens my eyes to the beauty that surrounds us each day; sometimes subtle, sometimes grand, but always there. Many of my images are scenes of, or are influenced by, Lake Erie. I have been fortunate to live by the lake shore for over 20 years and so am aware of how the Lake changes its appearance from season-to-season, day-to-day and even minute-to-minute. I hope my photographs encourage you to seek out the beauty of our surroundings.
