I started carving decoys in 1976 as a way to relax. I soon found I was hooked on trying to make each bird more realistic. I started to watch birds more closely and soon found that song birds and raptors were as interesting as shore birds and water fowl. I enjoy trying to make each sculpture a little more realistic in it's setting.
