After a 35-year career in PR, I was inspired by the Art Trail two years ago to pick up a brush and build on an early-life passion for drawing. I am a fledgling painter who is learning fast, and I revel in the transformation of subjects to a painterly translation that is expressive and loose, with a focus on color and brushstrokes. I have a consistent interest in faces and portraiture, and take particular pleasure in accepting commissions that interpret special people or objects to create a fine art treasure.
