I invite you to visit my brand-new studio, which is located on the second floor of the carriage house of one of Fredonia’s oldest homes (43 Central Avenue).
I am primarily a plein air painter, and much of my work celebrates the beauty and history of local agricultural communities. Most of my paintings seek to capture the unique geography, weather patterns, and natural resources of Western New York. Recently, however, I’ve created a large body of work celebrating the grand landscapes of national parks.
Every year there are a lot of new original works and limited-edition prints to enjoy at my studio. Whether you are looking for the sweeping vistas from my “Landscape of Change” series, intimate wooded scenes from the“Hidden Chautauqua” series, or new works from this year’s “Painting-a-day Garden Series,”I always have a rich variety of works for the CLEAT weekends.
Visitors will also be able to preview paintings for my big summer solo show “National Parks and Beyond,” which opens Friday, June 26th 7-9pm and runs until Saturday August 15th at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute in Jamestown. The show features more than fifty paintings done in and around twelve national parks and selected locations in Western New York.
Visit my website for information about commissions, plein air painting and journaling classes, events, and artist talks. View New works here.
